In the third quarter of 2024, geolocation games continued to captivate Android users in the United Kingdom. The top five applications in this category showcased a mix of both established titles and newer entrants, each demonstrating unique trends in downloads, revenue, and user engagement.

Atlas Earth - Buy Virtual Land by Atlas Reality, Inc. experienced fluctuations in weekly revenue, starting at around $20.6K in early July and dipping to approximately $10.4K in mid-September before rebounding to $14.7K by the end of the quarter. The app's weekly downloads began at 10.6K, decreased to 5.6K in late August, and saw a resurgence to 8.2K by September's close. Active users remained fairly stable, starting at 12.1K and ending at 12.6K.

Pokémon GO, a staple from Niantic, Inc., achieved significant revenue peaks, notably reaching $354K in mid-July before stabilizing around $110K to $179K towards the end of September. Weekly downloads fluctuated between 6.4K and 10.6K, while active users maintained a high level, averaging over 800K throughout the quarter.

Downloads showed an initial spike to 3.2K in late July, dropping to about 400 by the end of the quarter. Active users remained fairly stable, averaging around 49K.
